Data we collect

We collect account information, profile details, photos, stories, saved profiles, messages, and basic technical data needed to run the service securely. Some profile information is public by design, such as display name, location, age, bio, availability, languages, and profile photos.

Data we do not show publicly

Public profile and search pages should not show private account data such as email address, phone number, street address, postal code, or exact date of birth. Date of birth may be used internally to calculate age.

How we use data

We use data to create accounts, display profiles, support search, deliver messages, store photos, prevent abuse, protect the platform, and improve the service.

Photos, stories, and messages

Profile photos are part of public profiles. Stories are temporary and expire after 24 hours. Messages are private between conversation participants, but users should avoid sharing sensitive information unless they trust the other person.

Service providers

Perfect AuPair uses infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication, database, and storage. These providers process data as needed to operate the platform.
